I actually did like this reading. I got lost at times and kind of confused. But overall, I thought it was really good. I didn't really understand who the character was. That's what confused me the most. I thought that it was a dog, even though it said something about "from a cat's point of view". But, the reason that I thought this was because it was talking about how he wanted to get a bath in the moonlight. Most cats that i know of, do not like to have baths. At all. But that's all i really got about the character. I thought this was a very good short story and was one of my favorites that we have read this year.
This can relate to the real world, I guess. Because sometimes people talk to their animals because they don't really have anybody else to talk to. People who sometimes get lonely because they live by themselves or are a widower; sometimes find the need to do this. They sometimes might buy a new pet, so that they can have a companion that will keep them company and they won't get as lonely. I have known many people that have done this, and it helps them out a lot so that they don't get lonely.
This quote to me means that sometimes you just need to let things happen. Don't try to fix them. Sometimes it is better to leave problems unsolved. They will work out on their own. I kind of feel the same way. Sometimes you really shouldn't worry about fixing problems. Because within time they will work out on their own. Even if it takes awhile, everything will find its place; just like it is supposed to. Just give it time.
